The Castlemaine State Festival, running for 34 years, is an established brand with government, community, media and business sectors and its broad appeal as a community festival and cultural showcase offers a consistent and creative approach to sponsorship outcomes. The festival’s unique demographic reaches rural and regional families, as well as local community groups, visual and performing arts patrons and lovers of the arts, history and environment. Its full-colour program enjoys a readership of approximately 80,000, on a local, state and national scale. Audiences engage in a cultural exchange with numbers for the 2009 event anticipated in excess of 40,000.

Sponsorship and grant income account for approximately 65% of the Festival’s core funding. The Festival has a dedicated team who work to maximise benefits for organisations associated with the 2009 Castlemaine State Festival.

Donations and Patronage

Castlemaine State Festival Ltd is a not for profit, limited liability company registered in Victoria and is a registered charity. All donations over $2 are fully tax-deductible.

Individuals, foundations and philanthropic groups can be offered fully tax-deductible arrangements. More information is available on request.
