The Castlemaine State Festival, running for 34 years, is an established brand with government, community, media and business sectors and its broad appeal as a community festival and cultural showcase offers a consistent and creative approach to sponsorship outcomes. The festival's unique demographic reaches rural and regional families and local community groups, as well as visual and performing arts patrons and lovers of the arts, history and environment. Its full-colour program enjoys a readership of approximately 80,000, on a local, state and national scale. Audiences engage in a cultural exchange with attendances for the 2009 event in excess of 50,000.

Sponsorship and grant income account for approximately 65% of the Festival's core funding. The Festival has a dedicated team who work to maximise benefits for its sponsors.
